The Capital Area Shag Club is a non-profit social club that was founded in 1985 in Raleigh, NC. 

We are a proud member of the Association of Carolina Shag Clubs. 

It is our goal to have FUN while promoting beach music and shag dancing.   We are well known for our GREAT parties as well as our generous contributions to various charities.  Our home is in Raleigh, North Carolina, and we have some of the best shag dancers and beach clubs in the state.
