The Capital Area Shag Club is a non-profit social club that was founded in 1985.

We are a proud member of the Association of Carolina Shag Clubs.  It is our goal to have FUN while promoting beach music, shag dancing and beach clubs. 

We are well known for our GREAT parties as well as our generous contributions to various charities.  

Our home is at Loafers Beach Club in Raleigh, North Carolina, and we have some of the best shag dancers in the state. 

Our motto, "Capital Sun, Capital Fun" expresses our commitment to shagging, beach music, and having FUN!
